Wyzo - The Media Browser

Wyzo Ltd is an internet startup company that is based in Jersey, UK. [1] It is known for developing the FireTorrent extension and Wyzo web browser.

Wyzo Products
FireTorrent is an extension for the BitTorrent Protocol that runs on Mozilla Firefox and the Wyzo web browser. It places torrent downloads in the same Window as normal downloads, and bears similarity to the official BitTorrent client. It is recognized as being easier to use for the inexperienced torrent user than Standalone BitTorrent clients, but offers fewer options. [2][3] It is built upon P2P Innovate technology.[4]
The Wyzo web browser is based on Mozilla Firefox. The authors claim it is intended to download and manage all types of media, and they are naming it a Media Browser instead of a Web Browser. It is currently in Alpha development stage and supports Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, although Linux support is planned. Some of the modifications are:
A new skin, with an orange colour scheme.
A new homepage, which includes 33 search engines.
Native integration with FireTorrent.[5]

Nathan's Famous-The Best Hot Dogs...!!!!!!

Nathan's Famous (NASDAQ: NATH) is a company that operates a chain of U.S.-based fast food restaurants specializing in hot dogs. The original Nathan's restaurant stands at the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues in the Coney Island neighborhood of the New York City borough of Brooklyn.

Nathan's began as a nickel hot dog stand in Coney Island in 1916 and bears the name of founder Nathan Handwerker. Handwerker, an employee of Feltman's hot dog stand, was encouraged by celebrity clients Eddie Cantor and Jimmy Durante to go into business in competition with his former employer.[citation needed] Handwerker undercut Feltman's by charging five cents for a hot dog when his former employer was charging ten.[citation needed] At a time when food regulation was in its infancy, and the pedigree of the hot dog particularly suspect, Handwerker made sure that men wearing surgeon's smocks were seen eating at his stand to reassure potential customers.[1] The business proved immensely popular.[2]
A second branch on Long Beach Road in Oceanside, New York, opened in 1959, and another debuted in Yonkers in 1965. All were sold by the Handwerker family in 1987, at which point Nathan's was franchised and a great number of establishments were opened around New York City and beyond. The company went public in 1993, and Bill Handwerker, the founder's grandson, left the company three years later.

Nathan's Hot dogs on the grill
In the 1990s, Nathan's acquired Kenny Rogers Roasters and Miami Subs Grill. As of September 2001, Nathan's consists of 24 company-owned units, 380 franchised or licensed units and more than 1,400 stores in 41 states, the District of Columbia and 17 foreign countries. International master franchise agreements have also recently been signed with Egypt and Israel.[3] Nathan's also owns the exclusive co-branding rights to Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips.

• Canadian band Simple Plan's 'I Can Wait Forever' to be the title track for LaMB, Animax Asia first original animation production• American band The Click Five's song 'Summertime' to also feature in LaMB• Simple Plan to perform as an animated band in LaMB, while The Click Five's album will feature in the story• Animax Asia and Peach Blossom Media to produce music videos for both songs, to premiere on Animax across Asia and online in December 2008

2 August 2008, Singapore - Animax Asia's first original animation movie produced in high definition (HD), LaMB, is set to rock with songs written and performed by popular French-Canadian pop punk band Simple Plan and hot American rock band The Click Five.
Not only will their music be heard, band members of Simple Plan will perform as an animated band in the show, while The Click Five's album will be showcased in the story! LaMB marks both bands' first-ever involvement in an Asian production, undertaken by premier anime and youth cable channel Animax Asia for TV, mobile and online platforms across the region!
Headlining the soundtrack for the multiplatform, multimedia animation project, is the Simple Plan single 'I Can Wait Forever' from their self-titled album 'Simple Plan' released in 2008, as the title track for LaMB to feature on all media rollouts.
Animax Asia and Peach Blossom Media will produce an animated music video for the song to premiere December 2008 on Animax channels across Asia as well as online. In addition, all of Simple Plan's band members will be drawn into the story and will perform as an animated band as one of the highlights of LaMB, also a first for the band!
The Click Five's single 'Summertime' off their 2007-released album 'Modern Minds and Pastimes' will also feature in LaMB's TV, online and mobile properties, with the album art featured in the show, and characters making references to the band and song in their dialogues. Animax Asia will be producing a live-action music video for The Click Five's 'Summertime' which will include action sequences from LaMB, also to debut on Animax channels across Asia as well as online this December.
While LaMB marks The Click Five's first-ever involvement in an animation project, it represents Simple Plan's second and more adventurous venture into animation, having previously performed the theme song for Hannah Barbera Production's What's New, Scooby-Doo? and provided songs for various episodes of the series that aired in North America.
"Animax Asia is delighted to have two very popular bands on board for LaMB. Well supported internationally, both bands have a huge following amongst our youth and young adult audiences across Asia. Their involvement brings an exciting new dimension to the production as we endeavour to produce a truly world class original animation production," said Gregory Ho, Vice President & General Manager, Animax Asia.
Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Simple Plan is the five-time winner of the 'People's Choice award for Favourite Canadian Group' from top music TV channel MuchMusic in Canada. The popular quintet comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Pierre Bouvier, guitarist Jeff Stinco, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Sebastien Lefebvre, drummer Chuck Comeau, as well as bassist and vocalist David Desrosiers. Known for worldwide hits including 'Addicted', 'Perfect', 'Welcome To My Life', 'Crazy' and 'When I'm Gone', Simple Plan has recorded five albums including 'No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls' (2002), 'Still Not Getting Any...' (2004), and 'Simple Plan' (2008), along with 'live' recordings 'Live in Japan 2002' (2003) and 'MTV Hard Rock Live' (2005).
Formed in 2004, Boston-based The Click Five is made up of five Berklee College of Music students including Kyle Patrick on lead vocals and guitar, Joe Guese on guitar, Ethan Mentzer on bass and vocals, Ben Romans on keyboard and vocals, as well as Joey Zehr on drums, percussion and vocals. The Click Five released two albums including 'Modern Minds and Pastimes' (2007), and 'Greetings from Imrie House' (2005) along with hit singles including 'Just the Girl', 'Catch Your Wave', 'Jenny' and 'Fipside' in the midst of two performing tours in the US, two Asian tours, a tour of the UK, and an ongoing world tour.
"Warner Music is thrilled and proud to be part of Animax's LaMB along with the collaboration of Simple Plan and The Click Five. When we were first approached by Animax to come on board this platform, we immediately jumped on as this project is tremendous! The two bands that came into our minds were Simple Plan and The Click 5 which fitted this story like a cliche! Their involvement will no doubt lift this production to a much higher level," said Richard Lim, General Manager, Warner Music Singapore.

All right, I know that this might be a bit off topic, but it is related to my life and I post blogs related with my life too. Well this one’s about my bench mate, Neetu, who is one of my best friends. Well if my friends are best or not, I always love playing tricks, making fun and laughing at them and joining the other friends and laughing at them! Well that day was the best! It was when she had a fight and broke up with a guy! Man was it funny to see that guy laugh and ‘back off-ing’ from her and her belongings! Well she came to like this guy after they were practicing for the Inter-class dance competition in which she said that SHE’D DO THE SALSA ONLY WITH HIM AND NOT WITH ANYONE ELSE. Man I felt like laughing when I heard this! But then I thought about the poor girl as that guy was the first guy she had ever spoken since she had entered the 8th grade. So I controlled myself but I didn’t control from saying it to another best friend of mine, Docky about the happenings between my bench mate and that guy. Well for the next two days they were TALKING ALL THE TIME AND NEETU DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER TO TALK WITH ME! MAN WAS I FRUSTRATED! But the next day was my day! They had their first fight and it was all because of Neetu telling ‘stupid’ to the guy! Isn’t that really silly! I mean after all the slang we use in the class… man I sure did laugh for that!
Well after that the next day ma’am changed his place (well I don’t know the reason, but I think it was because he was short) and I was passing signs to Docky telling that Neetu was sad ‘cause he had gone front (the second bench and we were in the last – I love the last as it’s the mischief and tricks area). Then he started to make jokes of Neetu and telling them to Push-Girl (who sits back of that guy). Soon in the lunch Push-Girl came over to our place and told all the jokes. Man was she (Neetu) angry. So she just said a few slang, so that it wouldn’t hurt his feelings. Then after that Docky and I were the cameramen for the rehearsals and since the power was out, Neetu took out her Mp4 and put the speaker on, and they were rehearsing with that sound. Soon Push-Girl came running towards the ‘guy’ and told “ Here take it’s Neetu’s!” That did it. He soon ran out of the practice room and never entered it! And during all that was going on, I was laughing! So in frank it was just for two days ‘til they were friends and then they
broke – up. Well according to me that’s the quickest break – up that I’ve ever seen! And was a funny one too!

Tears of a Devil

This is a short story that I've written after a REAL conversation.
‘Ring! Ring’ the phone rang and mom answered it.
‘Hello!’ she said.
‘I want to speak with father’, replied my brother.
My mom was wondering what was up as she gave the phone to dad. I was studying and at the same time listening to the conversation over the phone.
‘What is it?’ dad asked finally.
‘I don’t want to stay here’ he replied.
‘I don’t like the hostel! There’s no computer and even cell phones’ are not allowed!’
‘Well you will go to your cousins’ place in the weekends right? You can use the computer there. Now don’t cry!’

He had cried! And that too for missing the computer and cell!
I was smiling.
He is so attached to them, that he’s weeping for them now!
“How stupid!” I thought.
Then I thought of the past. When he used to stay with us.
He used to get work out of me the whole time.
He used to hit me and man how was he addicted to the materialistic world! -LIKE HELL!
He used to hit me like he was the devil.
Then I laughed for,
The devil had finally cried.
The conversation continued and he was still complaining.
‘The room’s so congested dad and instead of 4 roomies there are 5! How do you possibly think that I can live here! I want to come to Hyderabad!
‘No son, you can’t come here. Your admission is eligible only in Tamil Nadu not here. And don’t worry they’ll soon make 4 roomies after the other kid gets his room.’
‘But I don’t want to stay! They give too much of writing work and it’s all so hard!’
‘I think you feel like that because when you were here you didn’t have much writing to do. You’ll soon get used to it’
‘They’re not allowing computers or cell phones!’
‘Do you want a laptop then?’
‘No! but there’s no one here to talk with! I mean allowing family members in the campus is a very strict rule’!
‘You have the phone in your hostel room right? Well, talk to your friends and cousins’ through that as much as you want. I'll pay the bills ok?’
‘Ok’ he replied, still crying.
And when it ended my mom tried her best to make him feel better.
I thought of him crying, and then continued with my studies.
